If you have a Pokemon with Surf and Waterfall in your party you can do a bit of extra exploring here, including picking up TM50 Overheat.

Venture deep into this dangerous area to find the legendary Pokemon Kyurem. Giant Chasm consists of two parts – a cave area and the crater forest it leads to. Because the campaigns are linear, easy, full of shitty cutscenes, and overly restrictive. Once you beat the elite 4 usually shit opens up for which pokemon become available, what moves you can learn, and difficulty rises as a result of it being optional.

As labyrinths often are, this one is a bit tricky. Each time you enter you only have 500 steps before you get kicked out, and you've got a lot of ground to cover and many items to find. The first floor contains all of Arceus's plates (except the Draco and Splash Plates, which can be obtained from an NPC in a house on Route 13), as well as some Relic items (for a full list, please check out ouritem location guide). Finding the entrance to the second and third floor of the ruins yields even more valuable Relics. You'll have to enter and exit multiple times to find everything, and enter from all four entrances. Mercifully, you won't find any wild Pokemon down here.

No mana is consumed if the weapon is used while there are no enemies within range.

On the Console only.png Console version, this weapon can be charged for up to 3 seconds to deal additional damage, consuming 15 mana per second to a maximum cost of 45. A 1-second charge doubles the damage, while the full charge of 3 seconds triples the damage. When the full charge is reached, the weapon will automatically discharge, hitting all enemies inside a circle with a radius of 50 blocks. It cannot pass through blocks.

The point isn’t that you can see the shadow. The point is that the perspective shifts because the game is using a 3D camera with 3D models. Your image is just static sprites.
