Probably the most egregious with gen 5 where Lenora’s gym is conveniently right next to an area that has three different fighting types and Elesa’s is right after the desert with ground types and Clay’s is conveniently in a city that has a cold storage.

So you won't get too butthurt. Though the actual age demographic for these games would usually be too dumb to use this effectively. For m personally I like this though as I always ty to have a mon that is super against that gyms type when playing the games.
