I am 100% certain that people who dislike this are retards whose opinions on anything Pokémon-related should never ever be taken into consideration.
They essentially used the Pokémon battle system to create a series of puzzles that increase in difficulty as you go on. It's the best mini-game addition the series has ever had, and arguably has the most reward and benefit to playing, as you can get special sparkle animations for your Pokémon, as well as a shitload of items that you can sell to basically be rich for the rest of the playthrough.
If you dropped or dislike B2/W2 over this, go fuck yourself. You're a brainlet and nothing you can ever say about Pokémon will ever be worth a damn, and you are the reason you're dissatisfied with Game Freak's recent games. Yes, you.
The forced tutorial wastes time, and crits are BS, but, fuck off.
