>>47557231>thinking that's all it takesThey don't want people who just want to work on Pokémon, they don't want someone who only knows one discipline of game development (due to Pokémon Red/Green being made by 10 blokes who did EVERYTHING concerned with making a game, vs teams doing one specific thing as part of an assembly line) and they want someone who just enjoys video games for being video games. The studio was born out a video game fanzine, the founders still hold court there and they even set up a in-house pet projects wing to feed into that ethos of early Game Freak of a handful of blokes, doing everything involved with getting a project from concept to on-sale.
In short, they don't want people like you or OP, who think they're entitled to the kiddy games sucking them off till they die.
