Some Pokemon games seem more or less made for it, RB and RS come to mind immediately, and even GS is a pretty smooth replay even if it's technically better to continue playing it instead. Pokemon is arguably at it's best when you can pick a new team, which replaying can theoretically encourage. It's a shame the later games have too many interruptions or are too slow for that sort of thing. I think it really started with DP, but old habits die hard so people would even try to replay something as late as B2W2. XY has so many pacing issues but so many Pokemon options that I'm not sure how much fun you'd have trying to replay it, and I could barely get through USUM after playing SM despite all the stuff I liked about USUM.
