I accept DP as the best first entries in a Gen, and I say this as someone who was into the series and playing games since Gen I. But I also think BDSP are the laziest remakes and there is absolutely no reason to play them if you still own the original DP or Platinum.

Stop using 3D as an excuse for GameFreak's incompetence. They can manage it just fine, the issue is purely in terms of scope and ambition.

Dp's only flaws are the engine (new engine here) and the dex (we saw Porygon-Z in a trailer).
BDSP will be good.
