What they should've did was give her Marowak, due to its connection in the story with the grave and whatnot. It could've been a neat tie in to Cubone's mother that we have to pacify. Makes much more sense than Arbok at least, and has a Ghost regional variant (much later but still) to boot. Ninetails with its almost ghost type lore also would've been a good fill in as well, better than Golbat.

>>47570819They fit the lore (Ghost) close enough without having the typing. On Bruno, what kills me is that Primeape has those same wrist/ankle braces that Bruno himself wears. You'd think it was intended to be his signature Pokemon or something.
