>>47570413>Field movesSomething better than Pokéride, preferably with the option not to have a dorky suit. Maybe incentivise following Pokémon to activate this in some moves (if a Water type Pokémon you can ride is following you, touching a body of water will trigger a Surf-like function automatically, like the Sw/Sh bikes. No move required)
>Pokemon interaction/virtual pet elementsCamp was fine, I'd hate to see it go because I liked seeing more than one Pokémon interact with the player and with each other.
>Difficulty modesShould be more than level bumps. Change damage parameters and opponent movesets/held items too.
>Pokedex CollectathonWe have 32GB carts and possibly bigger ones. Try to keep as much as possible.
>Boss battle variety/designI think BW2, all Sun and Moon versions and the Sword/Shield toyed with the idea of boss battles in Pokémon or non-catchable encounters. It's not a bad idea but I think it'd be nice if those battles weren't necessarily Pokémon battles just to throw off the player's preparation. Like if it were taking a page from the Anime and was a Team Rocket Mecha, maybe there'd be certain immunities and weaknesses or there's just a handful of move types that will do better damage than others.
>Sidecontent for campaign downtimePWT or old game cameos. The series has gotten to that point
Maybe a Looker mission.
>ReplayabilitySword/Shield handled 3rd game content right in a very contentionable way.
Sorry to say but it works.
>Battle system and facilitiesI'd love to see some one-offs become standard, like Inverse Battles, Triple Battles and Battle Royals. Maybe a trainer version of a Horde Battle if processing power allows.
>Catching mechanicsBalltism encouraged.
Different balls have Hidden Catch Rates (i.e. Swablu has raised catch rates for a Dive Ball, Umbreon has raised catch rates for Luxury Balls, etc.)
