The most distinct thing to Beautifly is its violent nature according to its pokedex entries and even then, dark pokedex entries aren't exactly unheard of. Still, it got Quiver Dance and a stat increase, which is more than a solid chunk of bug/flying can say for themselves, so it's not all bad for Beautifly.
