I don't know I think it's pretty based. Like you would think at some point some dev guy would think its a mistake and give her egg groups, but no, this incredibly niche trivia has been included in the games for 7 generations. I just wish we got that dex over here too

But it's not just Nidoqueen who can't breed. Nidorina is in the same situation. Feels like some joke about them not being rabbit enough compared to the small Nidoran... but then why aren't their male counterparts affected?
