If I want to replay a game I do the battle facilities or play multiplayer. Why the fuck would I redo the boring ass campaign?

The older games have far less interuptions and cutscenes, thus are shorter and have better pacing, and thus are more replayable.

People replay dark souls and shit like that all the time. The new Pokemon games don't have any memorable gym leaders or any sense of a challenge to warrant replaying with a new team.
I used to buy both versions excited to finish one game and do the next with a new team. Now I either skip games flat out like LGPE or play once and leave it in dust like X/Y Sun/Moon. If a game isnt replayable at all within 5 years it's a failure and can't retain fans.
If pokemon began with XY it would be dropped as a game entirely and never get a sequel

I have replayed gens 6-7 more times than replaying another other generation because there's literally nothing to do after the credits roll that you cannot already do in previous games.

Holy fucking shit OP are you mental. The only game I've ever played 5 times is Soulsilver and that's with emulators and randomizers. Literally none of these games have any shred of replayability cause it's a fuckin collection game. The games doesn't even give you good shit for collecting. You must be either mentally ill to replay these games that many times or just have morphine being pumped down your veins if you think that.
Oh by the way nice job making the cut off right at gen 4 which is most likely the gen you started at you retard.
