For want your suggestion of New Game+ might be it. Maybe with some restrictions like you can't use it to farm Master Balls and you can't catch certain Legendaries again in a similar way to how in Horizon Zero Dawn you don't get a second set of Shield Weaver armour.

For don't want battle passes would be the one I haven't seen them do yet that I don't want.
