Do you nickname your Pokémon, /vp/?
If so, how does your naming process usually go? Do you name them after references to cultural elements they're loosely related to? Do you name them something cute? Do you just name them all AAAAAAAAAAAA?

I named my Charizard in Gen 6 AAAAAAAAAAAAA because that's the sound it makes.

I just use whatever comes to mind and try to keep things like human names and pop culture references to a minimum. Typical things like Greek gods and japanese names are maximum cringe so I never go with those.

I usually just pick the first decent-sounding name that comes to mind, but on rare occasions I come up with a theme that I agonize over sticking to for the whole run. My first time through SwSh I named everyone based on fragments of Cockney Rhyming Slang.
