They deviated from the path Pokemon was headed towards. Call it good or shit (like you intended to with this thread) but I find gen 5 unique compared to the rest of the series. However, clearly it wasn't the taste to fans, which is why you think the gen itself is what "doomed" Pokemon. That's not the case.

Shit, that's a point. Swooshie are already done and Snap doesn't have a whole lot to discuss, regardless of how good or bad it is. The only things we have to talk about are the upcoming games, one of which we know the full content of because it came out in 2007 and the other we know pretty much fuck all.
