What a fucking stupid question, I even mentioned Kirby had like 3 titles of its own Smash clone, with the recent title adding in the main cast and 3 more non-abilities characters.

Ask yourself again if this is a smart question? Seriously. Pokemon is a huge as fuck series and all the characters they could use for anything could hold its own dream match game.

Pokken sold terrible in Pokemon standards and Smash is terribly limited on what series can get these kind of characters in.

In fact, they're still going by that dumb anime/movie/recent game shillmon rule, pushing other fan favorites out of the question like how they're only adding in main FE Lords or the Triforce trio instead of characters people actually want.

Pokken is the closest you'll get to a Pokemon fighting game that actually feels like a POKEMON fighting game and not just a fighting game with a Pokemon skin.

I mean that in the sense that Pokken is exactly what everyone thinks of when they think of Pokemon battles. For a Pokemon fighting game, people want something that feels like the anime, and Pokken is the only thing that's come close to that.

You could always go like Toribash but that's obviously not what I mean lol
I'm thinking something more like Stadium with ATB-ish combat as a proof of concept. They can make it a freemium mobile game.
