There's no real risk if your switch is old enough. Also you'll have more luck asking on a discord or reddit

Trading there is a huge pain in the ass due to the millions of rules you need to follow in order for your posts not to get auto-deleted by some bot.

>Account too young, deleted
>Can't offer shinies if you haven't traded with 10+ people before, deleted
Actually the absolute worst place for trades.
