Wouldn't expanding the ocean cause it to run into inland bodies of water and contaminate them with salt and thus destroy the habitats of many water pokemon?

If we use the game, many of the pokemon found in inland water bodies are also found on the ocean routes so not really an issue?

I think the thing with Team Aqua is that Pokemon are many times more adaptable than humans, so it's ultimately a non-issue. But then again maybe not. I think I floated this theory that they were Pokemon advocates while Magma were human advocates before, and some anon said nah.

That honestly makes way more sense than "we gotta expand the landmass", its a pretty good interpretation, though it could be argued that a team that's fighting for Pokemon's rights over human's rights would be hard to disagree with, even if its just a front ala Plasma.
