Just turn the sound up a tad so you can hear Tauros. That being said, yeah it’s the worst method. The usual biking method is just too easy so any method other than that one is going to be worse.

If you moved the circle pad too fast, Tauros would hit the wall and stop moving. That's why you had to look at the screen, to move your finger at the same speed as Tauros.

Gen 7 in general regressed a lot of advancements that were made to breeding, it was kind of sad.
>Can no longer autohatch eggs by holding one direction
>Can't EV train an entire party in 5 minutes with hordes anymore
>Can't reset EVs at no cost with reset bags anymore
>Can't view EVs on the bottom screen on a whim anymore
I just don't understand how they managed to fuck everything up so much. Even the campaign was a step down from XY of all shit games, it's part of the reason why I just couldn't stick with Gen 7 or 8.

Festival Plaza was better since it took the PSS and Join Avenue and combined the best of both. Get off your high horse, son. There wasn't a single thing that Gen VII didn't do better than VI. There's a reason people didn't start shitting on it until manchildren got angry that Swooshie didn't let them bring their precious Stantler over. The Alola games were still filled to the brim with soul even without the National Dex

Yeah it's annoying in retrospect since now we have better methods in Swoosh but I still look back on it fondly, especailly after how much of a slog it was to hatch eggs in Gen 5 and 6.

It wasn't a slog in Gen 6. In both XY and ORAS all you had to do was hold down one button and your character would loop around one place (Prism Tower in Kalos, Battle Resort in Hoenn).

The Y-Comm is objectively better than the PSS in every way. It is literally the same thing except it doesn't waste your time with pointless menuing. (Oh, and yet another reason why Gen 6 is closer to Gen 8)

Nah, I'd say they handled it pretty well considering the circumstances with off-grid movement. I enjoyed breeding and competitive far more in Gen 7 than any other Gen except 8. It's pretty good, definitely suggest getting into breeding if you ever try USUM or Swoosh.

meanwhile in gen 6 you just held a direction on the dpad. Fuck being "engaged" by the act of running around in a box waiting for the invisible timer to end, that's not playing the game, that's work.
I say just hatch in an ORAS mod that makes all eggs take 1 cycle to hatch and call it a day
