Fuck nu Mauville.
It looks and feels like a shopping mall. It's supposed to be a city and not how it's potrayed in ORAS. RSE Mauville was better

it would be unfair to compare what can be shown in an anime and what can be actually coded in a game due to technological limitations. i'd say this applies to the 3DS but the cities in the switch games have no excuse

It's like complaining that a town like Cherrygrove was ruined. Mauville is only interesting because it has a gym and a bike shop that you only visit once. Game Corner isn't even worth a mention because it's RNG the game ||still should've been replaced with an arcade in ORAS since removing a feature with no replacement is still bad in practice.||

I never used the slot machines, but I agree they should've replaced it with sonething since a removed feature is still a removed feature. They should've made the Game Corner a collection of minigames like the Stadium ones, those were Kino and would be a million times better than hoping for RNG to be on your side.
