Here's what I dont get. They go all "fire mouse" pokemon, but like, so? Bidoof is clearly a woodchuck, sandshew/slash are shrew/pangolins, pikachu's a pika, ect. The japanese call axolotls fish ffs, doesn't mean that's what they actually think it is or what they modeled mudkip after.
Honestly, I hope GF makes a fire starter that can't be shoehorned in so we can be done with this.
