Gengar is still good, but losing Levitate when it hadn't received a real buff since Gen 4 really fucked Gengar up. Now it's even frailer without much change to its power.

IS is really a victim complex, those two actaully are useless so i makes sense for their fans to complain. Even then, I haven't heard much complaining from either of them recently since TPC stopped hating them (MEganium in Snap, Typhlosion in Legends).

the truth is after the free updates that came at the same time as the dlc, no pokemon of value besides some mythicals and starters were left
