>>47621753I don't think Gamefreak knows that kids are inherently assholes to one another by thinking stuff like not being able to nickname traded mons and trade evos are a good idea. It was hard finding a kid that wouldn't give a Pokemon some dumbass nickname or pulling out the link cable after a trade Evo Pokemon was complete just to piss you off. No longer have to worry about that since I know people who are mature enough now, but back then it was hell.
