There’s everything wrong when a character is drawn so off model that the only way you can recognize it is because they borrowed the original’s coloration. Wanting some integrity isn’t too much to ask.

You can draw em however you want. There's plenty of people who like that sort of stuff. I'll stick with on model though. Then again, people that can execute it well are a rarity and should be treasured.
