Grookey looks cool eventually but you have to put up with the least cute starter until then. Its color scheme and initial personality kinda suck compared to the others.

weird, I was always of the opinion that Grookey was the cutest of the three. It’s a bit chubbier and its head looks like it could actually fit its body. If anything Rillaboom is where I started to like it less than the others (but still more)
