Do you think Pokémon would’ve been more successful if it had designs like this?
There may be “humanoid” designs in Pokémon but not necessarily human designs. What I mean is that the people designing the Pokémon take careful notice as to not make them human. Take Meloetta for example, it has a general humanoid body plan but it was designed to have circle for hands, a round face with no nose, no feet and it also lacks shoulders.l basically it lacks actual human traits aside from bodyplan. Contrast this to some of the digimon who are essentially very human like both in traits and bodyplan.
