>>47626978- almost every move has 90% accuracy or lower (except for moves like Ancient Power and Rock throw having 100% accuracy, but they're shit).
- almost every Rock-type Pokémon has a defense-oriented stats spread. This wouldn't be a bad thing if Rock didn't have five weaknesses, with some of them being common in PvP like Ground and Fighting.
- majority of Rock-type Pokémon are conviently weak to priority moves such as Aqua Jet, Bullet Punch, Mach Punch, and Vacuum Wave, a foursome of an absolute "fuck you".
- only relevant resistances are Fire and Flying.
- many Rock-type Pokémon have a low Special Defense stat, so they won't even be taking NEUTRAL special moves well and pretty much have to rely on their resistances. Some of these Pokémon even feel like they should have a higher Special Defense stat as well.
- special-attacking Rock-type Pokémon only have three special STAB options: Ancient Power, Power Gem, and Meteor Beam, the latter which was a recent addition in gen 8 via DLC. Game Freak is also retardedly picky when it comes to which Pokémon is able to learn Power Gem, so Pokémon like Aurorus and Coalossal are pretty much fucked with the middle finger known as Ancient Power for a playthrough, a 60 BP move with 5 PP. These two are able to learn Meteor Beam but that requires a turn to charge without a Power Herb.
- Rock is almost always a bad combination with any other typing when it comes to weaknesses, with some resulting more than five weaknesses and some even resulting in one or two double-weaknesses like Steel/Rock (2), Rock/Ice (2), Rock/Dark (1), Water/Rock (1), and Rock/Ground (2).

Charizard protectionism.Ice has the same problems.
