Why is the ground so textured compared to them? And then why do the trees and wild grass go back to looking cartoonish, creating whiplash between the two environments. (It doesn't help that the latter two are more saturated than the ground.) The worse part is the water, which looks the best of all the items here. But again, this creates weird whiplash between this and the simple models on the ground.
tldr; There's so much inconsistency here that it's hard to tell what direction BDSP wants to go. Chibi yet textured like LA or chibi and simple like a facebook game?
Also the encounters look even worse. All the complaints about inconsistency remain and the faces piss me off, they look so lifeless.
