>>47645791>Pokemon has never been open world. What does that have to do with my post?
>Not until the Wild Area in SWSH when they took parts of the Botw and Splatoon engine. Firstly, I still don't know what has has to do with my post. Secondly, the first game to use those was Let's Go (Source:
https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/cgh8fy/long_post_warning_an_actual_technical_analysis_of/ which by the way was posted before SS was even out). Thirdly, we literally have a prototype of SS that was based off Let's Go's engine, as I linked above. You seem to not have a strong understaning about engines, it doesn't restrict you to any particular design style. Lunchpack (the "Splatoon engine" you mentioend) is also used in Super Mario Maker, and both those games are quite different from Pokemon. Similarly, the Nintendo SDK (the BotW engine you mention) was also used for Mario Kart 8, again both are quite different from Pokemon. This isn't like Sonic Forces using the Lost World engine and causing weird movement issues due to camera related speed that they didn't check, this is more about getting the game to display at all.
>Keep fucking coping you delusional Kalosperm. What the fuck are you even talking about? I'm the guy with XY related dementia, I couldn't tell you hardly anything about Kalos.
