>>47650642Dugtrio is better than Diglett, but then it's just three little mole things gathered together so they'd still be 3 of the same Pokémon so Diglett made more sense.
>>47650652>>47650637Retards who like NuPokémon tier designs spotted. The things I cut are just as bad as modern Pokémon designs. You having nostalgia for them doesn't make them good. If anything shit like the Machop line, Jynx, Mr. Mime, and the Hitmons are worse than any new Pokémon because they're unsettling, super humanoid, and some of them even wear clothes. If Machamp and Jynx are fine that means Incineroar and Hatterene are fine. If Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee are fine that means Sawk and Throh are fine, and if Kadabra and Alakazam (being based in stage psychics) are fine then Decidueye is fine. If Voltorb, Electrode, Grimer, and Muk are fine that means Trubbish, Garbador, and Klefki are fine too.
>but old pokemon are monsters, new pokemon charactersNo, they're not. The humanoid Pokémon of Kanto are just as much characters as later humanoid Pokémon, and there were just as many jobmons. Just because you think you can arbitrarily decide what the cutoff is doesn't mean new Pokémon design philosophy is any worse than the older generations. Pokémon designs aren't getting worse you're just not nostalgic for new Pokémon. You are what's wrong with the fandom.
>>47650630Don't forget "it just gets bigger" evolutions, "literally just (my mom's) [animal"] for like half the early route mons, and Ratatta is the "literal animal but colorful and cartoony".
