Doubled Health with three turns of retardedly powerful Z-Moves that each grant you buffs or beneficial field effects is a horrible fucking idea, and it completely killed singles and ruined doubles as a result
It's boring to use, obnoxious to fight, and all battles in Gen 8 completely revolve around it
Max Airstream is the textbook definition of bullshit
It turns Weakness Policy from a risk-reward niche item into a literal retard-proof Instant-Win Button
It's lore is laughably inconsistent even in the context of the fucking Game
It looks fucking ugly, and the arenas you fight in had to be made into shitty identical boring football fields just to allow it
The sizes aren't even consistent and the clouds look like turds
The majority of the G-Max forms are fucking ugly, and either went to Mons who don't need them or can't use them (and in some cases ruined their Gen 8 lines due to them being designed around the G-Max form, relying on it to "complete them")
Moves were cut or altered specifically to make the mechanic work because GF can't code for shit and were rushing it out
It lets you bypass the choice lock, rewarding you for getting stuck rather than punishing you for it like it did in prior gens
And it's being hyped up as the new cool awesome thing only to immediately get dumped next gen when they make a new shiny retard gimmick, so it's impossible to buy into the plastic hype unless you're a moron or a sycophant
Know what I'd fucking love? A pokemon game without any fucking Gimmicks. But that's even harder to ask for than just having all the fucking Pokemon these days.
