Why bother fix what isn't broken?
There is literally no fucking point when the first two generations had the excuse for being watercolor-based whereas R/S still holds up today.

No it doesn't. Did you even look at the OP image? The shading and colour choices are completely different. Same goes for the rest of the Hoenn Dex art too. They need a fresh look after nearly 20 years.
