The next gen will be set in another part of Pokemon America to expand on Unova. Probably will be Pokemon California or something. Calling it now.

A west coast game that gave some spotlight to neglected Unova and Alola Pokemon by making them more accessible early on would be great. Mix in some neglected Poison,Fire, and Ground to play on themes(pollution, fires, and desert/earthquakes)

Eh??? In all honestly, I'd expect any China based region to take more from a Wuxia themed tale, so that's hardly "boring" and would be much more cultural/actually good Pokemon inspirations than anything else America has to offer. I'd also expect South Korea popping first before SEA, as Japan and SK are also economical/cultural rivals.

There's a second pattern based on Modern/Tradition:

>Hoenn/Sinnoh
>Unova/Kalos
>Alola/Galar
There's also a third pattern starting with gen 3 based on climate:

>5/6 is Cool/Hot
>7/8 is Hot/Cool
So gen9 is possibly going to be American, Urban, and Cool.
