Holy fuck. Say what you will, but Sword and Shield’s human designs are actually fucking ugly as sin.

Like, these are the fucking worst and look like they belong in a CGI Nick Jr. Show instead of a monster catching video game. Sun and Moon weren’t too spectacular but I’m more grateful for them now considering how amazing the human characters looked (honestly some of the best human designs in the entire series). Especially compared to THIS. I know it’s Gamefreak, but holy shit how do you fuck up THIS BAD, when the Generation prior did a perfectly fine job. Constant immense drops in quality is just the future of Pokemon now isn’t it?

These are all fine except for Officer Rape and the Hiker with the weird, sparkly eyes. Some of them are even really good (chef, café dude, backpacker, beauty). I think you're blowing things out of proportion

Some of these are pretty cute, I've never played SWSH but I like this one, the yellow is a great contrast with her skin. Most of the males genuinely look like shit though.
