Do you think Pokémon would’ve been more successful if it had designs like this?
There may be “abomination” designs in Pokémon but not necessarily atrocity designs. What I mean is that the people designing the Pokémon take careful notice as to not make them demonic. Take Meloetta for example, it smiles, it dances but it was designed to have a general humanoid body plan. lt basically it lacks actual demonic traits aside from how it renders small features like those. Contrast this to some of the monster rancher who are essentially very demonic like both in traits and bodyplan.
