>>47672588I very much enjoyed
>Crystal clearIt's crystal, but you can pick where you start and there's level scaling so you can sort of choose your own adventure. It's brilliant, and it really feels like the ultimate Pokemon game for a 90s kid. Being able to access super rare event only moves and make a team of my favorites was very immersive. Then I was able to transfer them to Pokemon stadium 2 and finally beat that game. Planning a route around your teams strengths and weaknesses is engaging. (OC trainers are mostly harmless. Some people get really caught up on the elite r but I welcomed the surprise and challenge. A certain update turned everyone brown for the sake of "equality". Very insane and negatively effect on 90s Japan aesthetic. Friendly /vp/ bro made a patch to fix it but I lost it)
>Gold 97 space world beta restorationOr whatever it's called. Basically a bizarre world alternate timeline bootleg 2nd generation game. Very fun way to experience the Johto that never was, and the weird misfit reject Pokemon.
>FireRed team rocketThis game can be knocked out fast if you keep maybe one or 2 Bros and just steal and replace the 4 others on your team constantly. You play through FireRed as a rocket grunt and experience the story and Kanto from an adult's perspective. It's kind of edgy but it's also a lore goldmine.
Enhanced emerald sounds dope. I'm looking forward to coral. And I'm on the hunt for a sort of ultimate black/white experience. A crystal clear for b1w1/b2w2 unova adventure. My favorite areas were added by b2w2, bit the story and team plasma stuff was so much better in 1. I want a romhack that is a synthesis of white and it's sequel.
