-amount of content
from what Ive heard it is by far the shortest pokemon game when it comes to both story content and postgame content, despite being twice the price (or 20$ more) than previous gen pokemon games on the console, and said lack of content can only be fixed via the low-low price of 30$ for the 2 dlcs ,making you pay 90$ to get arguably less gameplay than the old 30-40$ pokemon games (minus xy due to dynashit adventures being atleast better/more content than the nonexistent postgame of those games)
-graphics
unless theyre complete garbo I dont care, but still aside from lighting smoothing unironically looks worse than gamecube games, and is nothing on the beautiful 2d art of the 2d pokemon games that we should have never went away from
-music
from what Ive heard, swsh have a rather disappointing track compared to older pokemon games
-writing
shit in all pokemon games, but the story in this game is still shit even in comparison to others
-gameplay
I dont know what the comparison point is, but I will say that it ran smoother and allowed for more inventive puzzles in the 2d games compared to the 3d games, another reason why pokemon should have stayed 2d
Also the reason why swsh are the best selling has nothing to do with their quality, but rather with the current trends that they were released with, that is the rejuvenation of the publics interest into pokemon with pokemon go, which alongside the general popularity and avaliability of the switch made people far more eager to buy swsh, since they wouldnt just be buying a hanheld like the 3ds for just one game. And thats not even true since gs and rb sold for more even as dual copies.
