Reposting a story posted in /pmg/ a while ago. Context: people were talking about the wealth gap between Lillie and Leaf and how Lillie could completely own Leaf and make her do all sorts of shit for her pleasure.
Lillie's true goal is to obtain a massive collection of Pokemon that will rival Lusamine's. She learns that Red and Leaf have hundreds of Pokemon, regular and shiny, meticulously sorted by size and weight. At first, they refuse to give her a single Pokemon, but over time, they break down. They give her a single Pokemon in exchange for a brief moment of reprieve and a half-decent meal.
Slowly but surely, Lillie obtains Red and Leaf's entire roster of Pokemon. Red cries about it every day, but Leaf convinces him that it will all work out in the end. After all, Lillie takes more after her father; instead of a frozen trophy room, Lillie has their Pokemon being cared for on a ranch on a private island she inherited. Leaf tells Red that their Pokemon are receiving the kind of care and pampering that they never could've provided. She assures him that this is only temporary and they will eventually have all of their Pokemon back later. All they have to do is wait for later. Wait wait wait.
One day, after a particularly arduous week of serving Lillie with little to no food, Red and Leaf are treated to a banquet the likes of which they never imagined. They are far too hungry for their brains to process how uncharacteristically kind this is. Who knows? Perhaps Lillie finally had a change of heart and this is the "later soon" Leaf told Red would one day come.
Then the final course arrives. Atop a silver platter, Red sees a familiar sight. The head of his beloved Charizard. Lillie then goes into detail about everything they just ate. It was their entire collection of Pokemon. Slaughtered and cooked into meals that would befit a king. Not some lowly peasants like those two. So they had better throw it all up and clean up their mess, or face further consequences...
