>>47697819>Graphics/AnimationsUp to taste, but ORAS has the same ones as XY, and USUM's are at the least exactly the same
>MultiplayerProbably, but ORAS has the same and more
>Breeding/TrainingORAS has the same and more, as well as a looping map like BW did
>Map designNah, there's like two or three good maps (or at least ideas for them) in XY, while BW and B2W2 do better, especially combined, and ORAS uses a lot of maps from RS as expected, which are probably some of the strongest in the series.
>Pokemon varietyArguable, BW and B2W2 both have specifically curated pools of Pokemon, and while occasionally it's shit (looking at you, pre-gym 1 BW) it definitely sparks creativity, unlike XY which throws everything at you, but also is too afraid to not give you two Pokemon with free mega stones in a game where there's few before the postgame. ORAS also has RS's pretty good pool of Pokemon, but kinda shits itself near the end by giving you the National Dex before the ending. Variety isn't about the number, it's about what the options are.
>Side featuresDepends on taste, really. I could say the same thing about a lot of Pokemon games, USUM comes to mind, I'm not a Sonic 2 special stage guy, Blue Spheres is alright, but I really like Tube Panic (I know you know what Chaotix is, Sugimori). USUM also has a lot of little sidequests, how do you count things like that? I'm sure XY has plenty of those, if that matters to you.
>Post-game facilityWhat, only one? ORAS also has the exact same singular one as XY.
>the only way XY is objectively worse is the story writing. You sure? I dunno about that, B2W2 has a really weak story, and most of BW doesn't impress me. I do like Bianca's story though, that's really nice and I wish more Pokemon games made you consider stuff like that.
>"game freak didn't scam me into play the same game twice thus burning it into my brain more.".But BW and B2W2 are completely different games, how would either of them make the other more memorable?
