What's the deal with Legends Arceus releasing so early next year? Usually they do Holiday releases. You don't think Game Freak plans on releasing two Pokemon games next year, do you?

I do. I think Legends was supposed to release this holiday, but GF wasn't going to be able to make the deadline. TPC needed something to push out for the Holidays so they get the people who made Home to pump out a bare bones Diamond and Pearl remake. Legends was supposed to be the 2021 game, and whatever Ohmori is working on will come out Holiday 2022. That's my theory at least.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Legends only comes out 2 months after BDSP. You unironically believe that they were going to originally release the game for the 2021 holidays, realized they weren't going to make it by ONLY 2 months, then said "Well I guess we have to do an entire remake now".
