You’ll get granbul earliest unless you get lucky or abuse the phone for a stone, but all three have decent first forms that can learn good moves.
Headbutt is really good in game especially as STAB. Granbull can learn lick, bite, and mud slap and evolves by 23 making him quite good against Morty.
You’ll have to wait 7 more levels for urasaring and he gets dig/EQ and is more powerful eventually both specially and physically and a touch faster.
Note that ursaring doesn’t get shadow ball.
Arcanine once you get him is a beast with powerful normal and fire moves being really all you need. 110/100 offenses with slightly above average bulk for the region and great speed make him extremely powerful. Also gets dig and bite for rare coverage options.
Arcanine would probably fill the most useful role if you didn’t pick cyndaquil, but the other two are really powerful as well. Basically with the bulldog or bearbro, you’re going to OHKO almost everything if it doesn’t resist normal, and if it’s weak to ground dark or ghost same thing.
