I still have my sun game where I was building up a comp team, but I never finished it. I'm thinking of finding a way to bring my black sav file to a cartridge and then and migrate the mons that I grew from there and previous gens into SM, but I hear its quite complicated

False. ORAS has the biggest dex, USUM has the most amount of Pokemon able to be sent into one game.
Doesn't mean shit when there's nothing to do with them since they cut out all of the interesting parts of Pokemon's gameplay in Gen 7 too.

Comparing Pokédex size like comparing dick size means you've missed the point of Dexit backlash. It's not about having the biggest possible number of Pokémon in the game. It's about being able to transfer your bros from old games forward to new ones.

Dexcut apologists like you wouldn't understand.
With #898 Calyrex being the final one in the current national dex, it matters that SwSh cut out 232 pokemon out of 898.
Cutting literally over 25% of all pokemon, and that's not including missing alt forms like mega evolutions.
In a franchise built around the "Gotta Catch Em All", SwSh fucked up by being the first mainline game where it's impossible to collect them all.

Armor and Crown dex have repeats in the 200 that are in the base game, each DLC added around 100 new species to the dex while a bunch of legendaries are available but don't have dex entries.

I already caught Stantler, I don't see how being able to move it into Sword and Shield changes anything.

I think I actually would have liked the game MORE if it was just the 156 pokemon and everything else was cut. It would make multiplayer more fun instead of having to see the same broken shit people used in gen 4.
