>>47707579Stadium 1 & 2 have tons of the word you're looking if you want a battle game. Each Stadium game has its own feel to it, so it depends on if you want 90's Pokemon action or a "comfier" expanded experience. Play them for a little bit just for the mini-games before getting bored with them.
If you want spin-offs, play Ranger 1 if you have access to DS hardware and a stylus. Just keep in mind the touch screen will get destroyed. If you don't want an action game play an Explorers version of Mystery Dungeon. If you don't want a spin-off try the Spaceworld '97 romhack adaption. It's an unrefined proto that won't blow you away, but I'm glad to have done my playthrough of it a few months ago.
