i consider that forgivable since they were going for an alliteration in the names and their respective z moves
but why didn't they make lunala's base move have 2 Ms?
like moongeist malediction? weird word i guess but it plays into the ghost type curse theme and somewhat fits the upgrade into a maelstrom
