>>47717888I have nothing to apologize for, I liked X and Y even if the postgame was pretty barebones. It was fun enough. Megas were a neat gimmick even if I didn't use them all that much, yvetal is a cool legendary, and the bit at the end with AZ actually made me tear up a bit.
I liked it more than Gen 5 be cause it didn't insist upon itself. Gen 5 tried to be TOODEEP5U with its plot and then threw it out the window to make ghetsis the bad guy and destroy any depth the story could have had, so the cutscenes just become a waste of time.
It's the same reason I haven't finished USUM, the game tosses 20+ minutes of tutorial you can't skip at you and as someone who's played these games since they hit US shores with gen 1 I know how to fucking play a pokemon game.
