Admit it, Galar is the most SOVLful region since at least Gen 4. Unova was okay, Kalos was boring and Alola was total irredeemable trash.

How does that make it any more bland and forgettable than Kalos or Unova?

I can remember my playthrough of Swoosh. Can't say the same for BW2 or XY at all other than the constant interruptions.

I actually like Kalos as a region a lot more than some other ones. I don't think every spot is a winner (Route 1, Viridian Forest 2.0), but looking at the cities themselves, they're all quite nice to look at.

You must not remember your playthrough of SwSh that well if you don’t also remember constant interruptions in those games too. Every time I see Hop in the distance just standing in front of where I need to go it elicits an “oh no” reaction of suddenly not wanting to go over there. Half the time it’s just some pointless scene of him saying “Hey guess what, I’m here too isn’t that cool?”

That said I do like Galar as a region for the most part. It’s not the best one we’ve had, but it’s definitely not the worst either.
