We argue day in and day out. It’s what /vp/ is, has been, and always will be. This post will fade into the shadows regardless of what one individual poster says or does.
I just want to say something. I could give you the typical “life’s been hard for me lately“, and that’s what I’ll do.
Yes, I happened to give pokemon Black a try during this time.
Yes, I finished it.
Yes, I shed a tear at the end.
No, I’m not one to cry.
Yes, I’m 33.
I have played Red, Crystal, Leafgreen, Emerald, Pearl, Omega Ruby, Y, Sun, Ultra Sun, and Let’s Go Eevee, in that order.
When I played pokemon Black, I felt this experience brought me back to what Pokemon once was. Putting differences between games on paper or text does nothing to show the greatness of this game and the games before it. A normal, functional human knows that they really did care about pokemon before full 3D.
I am not making this post to come off as overly emotional. I am actually leaving and not watching the shitposts for responses, as there is nothing to gain from witnessing that. I am even regretting making this post, only slightly. It’s just my hope that someone out there can relate to this.
