>>47748595Nah, gen 1 still holds up due to its simplicity and more strict adherence to classic RPG tropes, LGPE managed to be decent-ish games just by being mostly based on the solid nature of the original games and adding a few QoL features
It's not the best gen, but it's still solid, quirks and all
