Dennis didn't have her dragon in the sequels, so this is non-canon. She's also at "least" 16 by the time of BW2 and even older by the time of Sun/Moon.

Her post game fight was cut by Game Fuck, and she regularly kept in contact with her mother, who's the one who pushed her out of the house to begin with alongside the other adults in town so she could see the world and grow up. Stop your slander.

As funny as I find it that canonically Hilda went on a huge journey to find a guy who ended up coming back to Unova anyways, it is kind of retarded that's the explanation they went with.

I mean, regardless of anything, choosing to explore and fuck around while Ghetsis is at large means she is danger. Personally I think they should give the game the SM/SWSH treatment. Make Cheren and Bianca more expressive, have more fluff scenes, etc.

What I hope they'd do is add either Hilbert or Hilda as well for a more serious rival throughout the game. But that may require adjusting the story a bit.
