it's actually a very interesting topic. Apparently chinese players use EV spreads that are specifically designed to counter certain sets. So, instead of dumping 252 into the dump stats, they get more creative with it.

No, I guess not. Even still chinese guys go pretty deep into it, as far as I understand. Their ev spreads are much more convoluted and may even look nonsensical at first glance.

Their metagame evolved differently than ours so they prioritize different things. In the rest of the video you'll see a bunch of patterns in the EV spreads if you have the time/interest to bother
