I just got Moon and Ultra Sun respectively for really cheap as part of a physical game collection of sorts. I'm playing through the games in order. Should I bother playing Moon and Ultra Sun back to back? I'm kind of dreading since there isn't many differences from what I hear.

Like the third version games before USUM, they are 75% similar to the originals. But the story arc is different so you might want to play both. However maybe take a break between both games.

There is value in having both for replays, but if you're just going through once play US.

Probably. Moon still has postgame but USUM have much more of it

That's true, but the only postgame that matters in comparison to US is the ultra beasts one. At least that would get me the version exclusive ones like Pheromosa, Celesteela etc
